Note: Access to the Neat Pulse API requires customers to have either Plus or Pro licensing. See https://neat.no/pulse/#plans

Neat Pulse Setup

In order for you to integrate Neat Pulse into your service, you will need to ensure you have access to the Neat Pulse API in your Pulse portal (https://pulse.neat.no/) . To check you have this feature enabled, you can look for the 'Integrations' menu within the Pulse Portal menu:

If you do not, you will need to get in touch with Neat to turn this feature on.
To enable our solution to access the portal, you will need to have your ‘Organization ID’ and Token from the Pulse Portal. To get the Organization ID:

Organization ID

From the URL string when you log in, i.e. https://pulse.neat.no/DvwPxzY/p/rooms, where the Org ID is the value after the neat.no/. In this example: DvwPxzY
Token
If it doesn’t exist, click ‘Add Integration’ and assign ‘Read’ and ‘Write’ permissions, along with a descriptive name of its use - something like 'Morbit Studio integration'. Take note of the 'Token' provided as we will need this too (Caution: you will not be able to get this Token details after this step).

Morbit Setup

In the Organisation section of Morbit, Edit the Organisation you wish to enable with Neat Pulse Integration, by ticking the necessary checkbox. Click Save.

In the Microsoft Teams Tenant section for the same organisation, select to open the Teams Tenant for the Neat Devices you wish to integrate into Morbit. Selecting the Neat Pulse side menu will show this screen:

Using the details from the Neat Pulse Setup section of this guide, complete the fields shown. The Description is something you assign that's appropriate for the integration, such as, "CompanyABC Neat Pulse API". Click Save.

The application will now run a background process pairing the Neat Pulse devices with your MS Teams devices. Please allow a few minutes for this to complete.

Morbit is now collecting the environmental settings for your Neat devices every 5 minutes. These being:

  • Temperature (°C)
  • Humidity (%)
  • Carbon Dioxide (CO2) (ppm)
  • Air Pollutants (Volatile Organic Compounds - VOC) (ppb)
  • People Count
  • Illumination (lux)

Note: People Count and Illumination are not recorded on Pad (Touch Console) hardware.

This data will be displayed within Morbit in these areas of the application:

  • Call Data - Contained within a new Environmental menu. This will show the environment data during the time of the call.
  • Device Analysis - You can trend the data with maximum, minimum and average values being shown, during various timeframes of your choosing.
  • Unified Comms Device > General - You can open up your Neat device and view the current environmental data at that point in time.
